Developed by Amfi Craft, the Thermo Main-Tainer is a unique, insulated fibreglass container that is perfectly suited for the storage and transportation of perishable products.
Each temperature discipline is contained within its own ‘micro climate’ thereby allowing for ambient, chilled and frozen goods to be transported within the same vehicle.
The Thermo Main-Tainer therefore offers you a simple, economical and efficient means of maintaining the cold chain during transport and delivery often without the need for mechanical refrigeration.
Ambient, chilled and frozen products can be transported within the same vehicle.
More deliveries can be made more often without the need for multiple vehicles (greater transport efficiency).
In a number of cases, the use of a costly refrigerated fleet can be avoided.
Distribution is a highly sensitive phase of the cold chain due to product handling and frequent door openings of the vehicle during multiple drops. With the Thermo Main-Tainer goods are contained within their own micro climate, thereby eliminating the risk of temperature fluctuations caused by truck door openings.
